Our design team at JC Waller & Associates, PC has extensive knowledge and experience working with Colleges and Universities to enhance and develop their campuses. We understand the challenges and demands that accompany developing a vibrant and growing campus.

UNION SQUARE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

CENTER FOR NURSING - Provided civil/site/transportation engineering services for an 84,000 gsf LEED Gold Center for Nursing Building with a new 250-vehicle parking lot. The design features included grading and erosion control, landscaping and stormsewer design.

NORTH CAROLINA A&T STATE UNIVERSITY

URBAN FARM - Provided the site/civil and infrastructure design on a 7-acre site for (3) - 2,500 square foot high tunnels, parking lot, utilities, and landscaping for Eastern Development Growth Enterprise (EDGE) in conjunction with North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University for performing urban agricultural activities to bring fresh fruits and vegetables into economically depressed areas. The site/civil design services included master planning, construction documents, bid administration. Obtained all applicable state and local permits.

ROCKINGHAM/CABARRUS COMM. COLLEGE

BUILDING 300 WATERPROOFING - Provided civil engineering Design, Bid Administration and Construction Engineering services for the exterior waterproofing of Building 300 and the associated drainage site improvements. The improvements will consist of installing an interior roof access hatch and landscaping adjacent to Building 300. 3. Provided a 1.0 ac topographic and location survey around Building 300. The topographical survey included obtaining top elevation and inverts to the storm sewer system adjacent to Building 300 and Building 100 as well as locating the termination of the existing sidewalk on the Rowan Tech Road side of Building 100.
